When Pete Wentz Got Pulled Over in His Mercedes S65

April 4, 2008

Guitarist/Bassist Pete Wentz of the band Fall Out Boy was recently pulled over by the man in blue (a cop) for speeding. The car he was riding during that time? A Mercedes-Benz S65. A great ride to get caught for speeding. After all, its engine is made for high-speed performance. If only Pete chose the right time and place to test just how great a ride his Mercedes really is.

Since we’re in the subject of how powerful this classy yet simple car is, then it would be a great time to point out that under its hood lays a bi-turbo V12 engine which gives off 604 horsepower. If you’re wondering about its torque, it’s 738 lb.-ft. at 2,000 to 4,000 rpm. Impressive? Definitely. This four-door luxury sedan is able to accommodate five passengers and is available in four trims. The S65 AMG, which Pete was driving, comes with a hard drive that has 20 GB, as well as a GPS Navigation Aid with Voice Activation. Safety is not a problem with its 4-wheel anti-lock brakes. Other safety features include front and rear crumple zones, side guard door beams, and front and rear 3-point seatbelts. The interior has seats wrapped in AMG exclusive upgraded leather seats. It sports 20-inch alloy wheels, Nano-Particle Scratch Resistant Paint and stainless steel exhaust pipes to complete its sleek yet simple look.
